She was his entire universe, Chakotay thought as he gazed at the woman in his arms.
Kathryn's cheeks were flushed, her lips slightly swollen from kisses, and her hair was in
disarray. She'd never been more beautiful.
Chakotay marveled at her being there in his bed, in his arms.
He didn't think he'd ever sleep again.
Chakotay absorbed the feel of her breath on his skin. He reveled in her body heat. The smile on her sleeping face made all the waiting worth it. He hoped her dreams were of their future together.
She murmured his name and he smiled.
