A footstep and he turned to meet Kathryn’s shining eyes.

"I love you."
"I’ve waited to hear you say that."
"I’ve longed to say it."
Arms wrapped around one another, two figures merged in moonlight.
A boat is waiting, and love can no longer be denied.
