Kathryn smiled as she sat behind her desk, across from Chakotay, each going over reports
pretending not to watch the other. She had fought her feelings too long, not wanting to
admit the attraction she felt for him. It was a battle she was ready to lose. He stood up
and leaned across the desk to hand her a report. She made her move, grabbing his shirt to
pull him forward and pressed her lips firmly against his. His look of surprise as he sat
down was worth the effort. His cheeky grin told her he knew it had begun.
