Tom chuckled to himself as he looked around the room, this was goingto be fun. "All right folks, I'm sure you're all familiar with this game.Anyone need an explanation?"
"Tom, you can't be serious. I ..." began Kathryn.
"Captain, you promised this night of fun. Come on, it's just us, yoursenior officers. Where can the harm be?"
Kathryn glanced around the room. Seated in a circle were Tom,B'Elanna, Harry, Seven, Neelix, the Doctor and Chakotay. How did she getherself into this? Playing spin the bottle with...
"Alright, I spin to see who goes first," Tom interrupted her thoughts.
The bottle twirled around and stopped in front of Neelix, "So I justspin it?"
"Yep, and whoever it stops in front of you kiss," explained Tom.
"Okay, here it goes," said Neelix spinning the bottle. A look of disappointmentcrossed his face when it stopped between B'Elanna and Tom. "So what doesthat mean?"
"It means you don't get a turn, maybe next time. Sorry," said Tom spinningthe bottle once again.
It landed in front of Harry. He took his turn, smiling as it stoppedin front of Seven. He took a deep breath and leaned over; before he losthis nerve, he placed a chaste kiss against her lips.
She didn't react in any way, instead she took her turn. The bottle stoppedin front of the Doctor, who eagerly met her half way, the kiss lingeringa bit longer then it should have. Seven blushed and leaned back.
The Doctor, with a bit of a now cocky attitude reached down and gavethe bottle a spin, finding it stop in front of Tom. "Oh, now you can'tpossibly expect me to..."
"Just get it over with, Doc," said Tom.

barely
noticeable
to
anyone,but
accepted
none-the-less.
Now it was Tom's turn; he took the spin and tried his best not to grinwhen it pointed to the Captain. Of course, he never thought of her in thatway, yet he always wondered...'Here's your chance, make it good,' he thought.He leaned over and placed his lips on hers, letting them linger just amoment before he pulled back. He couldn't help but glance at Chakotay,'Was that jealousy he saw?'
Kathryn reached for the bottle, suddenly feeling this game wasn't sobad. She thought again, the bottle landed in front of B'Elanna. Oh well,can't win them all. She leaned over placing a kiss on her engineer's lips,a bit shocked that B'Elanna returned the kiss.
B'Elanna smiled up at the Captain then took her turn. She nearly startedlaughing when the bottle pointed to Chakotay. ' if Tom can take liberties,then so can I.' She leaned over to Chakotay and met his lips, a shiverrunning through her as his lips met hers.
Chakotay smiled, and took his turn; his hopes were high that it wouldland pointing to a certain Captain but no luck. Tom laughed out loud whenit landed in front of Neelix.
Chakotay groaned; were the gods against him or what? The kiss Chakotaygave Neelix had to be quicker then the one the Doc gave Tom, but once againno one objected.
Neelix took his turn, hoping his luck would change. He nearly jumpedout of his seat when the bottle pointed to Seven; he eagerly leaned overto Seven and placed a kiss onto her lips, disappointed that she did notreturn the favor.
Seven then took her turn, smiling as it landed in front of the Captain,'another curiosity of hers.' She moved towards the Captain and leaned into kiss her, lingering long enough to make Kathryn uncomfortable. She wasconfused when the Captain leaned away from her, obviously breaking it offsooner than Seven had wanted.
A bit disturbed by the last round, Kathryn wanted to put a stop to thegame, yet everyone was having so much fun, she couldn't bring herself todo it. She spun the bottle half-heartedly, but let a smile creep to herlips when it stopped in front of the man seated next to her.
She didn't want their first kiss to be here in front of everyone buthad to admit to a bit of school-girl anticipation as she turned to himand leaned in close.
Their lips met, then parted, tongues snaking in to taste each other.Her arms moved up to wrap around his neck, holding him in place as theirtongues dueled. Her body tingled everywhere as the passion rose in her. This was better than she had imagined, and she had imagined it plenty.
"Umm, Captain, are we going to continue or is the game over?" said Tom,trying not to laugh.
She pulled away, slightly embarrassed, "Sorry, do continue. But I thinkI've had enough for the day. The rest of you enjoy yourself," she saiddismissing herself. She got to the door and turned to the stunned group,"Well, Chakotay, are you going to stay here and play or come to my quartersand play. I have the perfect bottle just waiting for a spin."
The rest of the group tried not to laugh outloud as Chakotay shot upand out the door right after her. "See, guys, I told you it would work.Now how about a game of cards," said Tom with a laugh.
